- Prepare a Saline Solution: Mix the recommended amount of non-iodized salt with lukewarm distilled or previously boiled water as per the instructions.
- Set Up: Lean over a sink, tilt your head sideways, and gently insert the spout of the neti pot into the upper nostril.
- Irrigate Gently: Allow the saline solution to flow through your nasal passages, exiting from the other nostril. Breathe normally through your mouth during the process.
- Repeat: Switch sides and repeat the procedure to ensure both nostrils are cleansed thoroughly.
